Develop and implement comprehensive math lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Develop assessments and monitor student performance through various methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations. Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives. Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students. Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff. Regular and predictable attendance. Cognitive Demands:Supervision of multiple students at once. Establishing routines and procedures. Maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Create and implement instructional plans. Participate in continuous professional development. Effective oral and written communication skills. Physical Demands:Occasionally lift/move objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Stand and walk frequently. Occasionally sit on the floor or bend down/squat. Assist/lift students, as necessary. Qualifications:Bachelor\s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan for secondary education with an endorsement in the subject. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities. Strong knowledge of math curriculum and state standards.
