Client Administration – Area Manager will be responsible for maintaining client relationships at the Director level and above and have quarterly check-in meetings to evaluate performance, pipeline and evaluate future opportunities. New Client Start-up Manager – Within their geographic area, the Area Manager will assist the Regional Director and lead the assigned Account Manager through the new client start-up process. ARM will be responsible to coordinate the start-up schedule and provide quality control on all deliverables (D&I documents, Gordian Cloud forms/reports, pre-bid presentations, etc.). Contract Administration – Ensure all areas of service and deliverables as detailed in Gordian’s contract are being met. Track contract and contract option expirations and coordinate with clients and Gordian legal department on renewals. Employee Management – ARM will manage all Account Management and support staff within their territory. This will include managing My. Fortive, Expensify, Kronos, etc. ARM will also assist the RD in developing Performance for Growth and Development for Growth goals for each member of their team. All new Area Managers will participate in Gordian’s LEAD program unless they have gone through it before and have been excused by HR. Budget Development & Management – ARM will assist the RD in the development of the annual budget and provide analysis of historical client volume, current pipeline and future client budgets (if available). Financial Forecasting – ARM will review and follow developed standard of work for mid-month, quarterly and yearly forecasting. They will delegate any data collection to AMs and JOC Coordinator. ARM will provide comments and backup information to RD on any variants to the budget and the mid-month forecast. Coordination with Marketing, Product & Sales – ARM will assist marketing with access to clients for case-studies, marketing collateral or Harry Mellon Award of Excellence submissions. ARM will work with RD to identify all upsell/cross-sell opportunities, assist Planning Conversation Captains with target list and coordinate introduction meetings between the sales team and client. ARM will assist product and other departments with Voice of Customer requests. Gordian Cloud Migration Manager – ARM will oversee the operations team through all Gordian Cloud migrations. ARM will be responsible for understanding proper procedures, standards and best practices. They will be responsible to provide weekly and monthly reporting to RD (and others as necessary) on progress of migration and immediately elevate issues and concerns to the proper department. Contractor Outreach – As required in the region, ARM will assist outreach team as they conduct reach out to the contractor community. They will also assist clients in getting and reporting participation in their Job Order Contracts. This outreach will include JOC 101 presentations on a semi-annual basis to educate contractors. ARM will coordinate with JOC Coordinator in creation and distribution of materials associated with contractor outreach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience Strong background in Construction with 7 years’ experience in the design and/or construction field Experience managing teams of three or more, preferably having experience managing remotely-based teams Must be highly motivated, results-driven and organized to manage multiple contracts and people and have the ability to work independently Experience identifying client or staffing issues and the ability to create effective solutions as well as the knowledge of when to escalate Experience in Account Management/ Customer Success; knowledge of key concepts including JOC process, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks Working knowledge and experience in the preparation and process of construction bid documents; knowledge in the process of new client start-ups (preferred) Confident communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations Sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships A valid US driver’s license and the ability to travel within assigned territory up to 30% of the time. National: The salary range for this position is $79700 - $147900 This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
