Design and develop tooling, fixtures, layouts, and process improvements using 3 D CAD modeling. Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, throughput, and equipment reliability. Support and lead maintenance-related efforts, including equipment upgrades, preventative maintenance initiatives, and downtime reduction. Improve manufacturing processes through standard work, work instructions, and process documentation. Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturability and smooth process transitions. Analyze production and equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams. Provide hands-on engineering support on the shop floor as needed. . The Successful Applicant. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in 3 D modeling and CAD software in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects in production settings. Background working closely with-or leading-maintenance functions within manufacturing. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, assembly, or automation. Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies. Comfortable balancing design work with hands-on shop-floor execution. Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
