Immerse yourself in cutting-edge technologies while serving as a Petroleum Engineer to energy clients. As a petroleum engineer on our team, you will support the development of new technologies for subsurface resource extraction by providing advice and guidance on the design, evaluation, and management of government and private sector sponsored Research and Development (R&D) programs. Your insights will also help inform our clients about emerging technology needs. You will engage and collaborate with a group of technology experts to leverage rapidly maturing technologies from other sectors to further energy technology development. Join our team and help guide the energy sector towards sustainable solutions. This position is onsite and based in Washington, DC. You Have: 10 years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research pertaining to subsurface resource extraction 2 years of experience in an operational role in hydraulic fracturing of shale for oil and gas extraction. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/ Fitness determination based on client requirements Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering. Nice If You Have: Experience in a consulting or advisory role. Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when dealing with uncertainty and ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking Possession of excellent communication, organizational, client service, and analytical skills Doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
