About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on, highly skilled NSOC (Network Systems Operation Center) Technician to be the first line of defense for our systems and PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) services. If you love a mix of high-level network monitoring and roll-up-your-sleeves infrastructure work, this is your dream job. What You’ll Be Doing:The First Responder of IT: Act as the Tier 1 lifeline for all inbound service requests, critical alerts, and incident responses. regarding infrastructure. Boots on the Ground: Troubleshoot facility systems, repair hardware, and keep the infrastructure running seamlessly. The Hardware Hustle: Rack, stack, cable, and terminate. You’ll be working with everything from data communication cabling to UPS systems and backup generators. Mission Control: Actively monitor critical systems and services on the NSOC floor to catch and resolve issues before they impact emergency response times. Who We’re Looking For:Experience: 5 to 10 years of Field Technician experience in a 24/7/365 critical support, NOC, or SOC environment. The Tech Chops: You have a deep understanding of IT systems, networking, and data infrastructure. (Comp. TIA A Certification is highly preferred!)Mechanical Aptitude: You aren't just a keyboard warrior. You can test cables, rack 50 lb. servers, and use power tools safely and effectively. Cool Under Pressure: You possess exceptional customer service skills and maintain total professionalism when dealing with critical outages or high-stress situations. Education: A 2- or 4-year degree is great, but we happily substitute degrees for direct technical experience and certifications.
