The Product Architect contributes to business growth by defining and developing AI-driven design automation solutions for custom IC and analog/mixed-signal designs. The role focuses on Siemens native platforms, including L-Edit, as well as third-party, Open. Access-based design environments. Key Responsibilities. Layout Automation & Design Migration - Define layout automation capabilities for custom IC and analog/mixed-signal designs. - Apply AI innovation to deliver breakthroughs in design migration. - Align solutions with modern process technologies and foundry requirements. Platform Integration & Automation - Design and implement integrations within Siemens tooling, including L-Edit, and third-party, Open. Access-based frameworks. - Develop and maintain SKILL-based and other scripting-based automation for layout and migration workflows. - Establish clear integration patterns and technical best practices. AI & Intelligent Workflows - Apply AI and machine-learning techniques to layout automation, design migration, and optimization. - Evaluate emerging AI-based methods and translate them into product capabilities. - Track industry developments in intelligent design workflows. Qualifications - Experience designing or implementing AI-driven workflows for EDA, layout, or design migration. - Strong hands-on experience with SKILL-based integrations and design automation. - Proven delivery of complex EDA software or design automation products. - Experience with Siemens custom IC design tools, including L-Edit, and/or third-party, Open. Access-based environments. - Background in layout automation, design migration, or analog design workflows. - Team and technical leadership experience. This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Details regarding our benefits can be found here: The pay range for this position is 180,400 - 324,700 annually with a target incentive of 15-25 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
