This on-site Assistant Facilities Manager role in Watertown, NY supports the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across professional office and warehouse environments. Reporting to the Facilities/ Area Manager, this position helps lead daily operations, ensures service delivery aligns with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and supports cost-effective operations within approved budgets. The role is critical to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities while strengthening the client partnership and supporting JLL’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. What your day-to-day will look like:Support leadership of site operations and maintenance teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Oversee day-to-day operational performance of assigned facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and asset value protection. Assist in planning and execution of short- and long-term operational and capital projects. Conduct routine building inspections and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Manage third-party vendors and contractors, including procurement support, PO issuance, and invoice validation. Track KPIs, develop operational and financial reports, and support budget variance analysis. Partner with client stakeholders and internal JLL teams to address issues, drive improvements, and support incident investigations. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience 3–5 years of facilities management experience, including oversight of technical or operational teams. Experience supporting multi-site or 24/7 operational environments. Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance practices, and safety programs. Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, and service delivery against SLAs and KPIs. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments. Familiarity with budgeting, variance reporting, and cost-savings initiatives. Working knowledge of building systems, real estate operations, and basic accounting practices. Experience supporting capital improvement projects and lifecycle planning. Demonstrated client relationship management and presentation skills. Experience using JLL tools, processes, and best practices (or similar enterprise FM platforms)Ability to travel 10–20% within the region to support site inspections and stakeholder meetings. Location: Watertown, NY - Work Shift: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Salary: $29.32 - $42.35 This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position:61,000.00 – 88,100.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
