Provides screening, assessing, and providing treatment to patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Responsible for planning, implementing and documenting patient evaluations and specific treatment plans for individual patients. Practice in accordance with the Speech Pathology Standards of Practice, state and health regulations, and the policies and procedures of Sutter Health. Job Description:EDUCATION:Master's: Graduate of accredited language and speech pathology program. OR SLP License evidencing program graduation. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:CDCA-SLPA - California Department of Consumer Affairs Speech Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers certification. OR RPE-Required Professional Experience Temporary License by California Department of Consumer Affairs Speech Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers. BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Critical thinking & problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work under required supervision level. Knowledge of professional practice and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements. Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies. Professional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/ collaboration, customer service and community relations. Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills. Job Shift:Day/ Evening. Schedule:Full Time. Shift Hours:8 Days of the Week:Variable. Weekend Requirements:Rotating Weekends, Saturday.
