The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 24-bed, high-acuity critical care unit specializing in:General Surgery. Trauma. Transplant. Cardiothoracic Surgery. As a Level I Trauma Center, our team collaborates closely with a broad multidisciplinary group to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The SICU also cares for a wide range of acutely ill patients requiring advanced and complex therapies. Our nurses are clinical experts dedicated to continuous learning, maintaining leading-edge knowledge, and utilizing the latest practices and technologies. Epic is used for computerized charting and medication administration. Self-scheduling is available through a computerized platform. Every third weekend rotation is required. Qualifications BSN preferred BLS required ACLS certification preferred At least 1 year of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred Massachusetts registered Nurse license required. Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs Pay Range: $37.00 - $95.37
