Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, Pet Nutrition North America, the Vice President, Marketing Operations & Transformation leads the North America marketing operations agenda, translating global media, content, social, and digital priorities into integrated, high-impact local execution. This role drives cross-channel planning, performance management, agency governance, and operational excellence to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and measurable business outcomes. As a senior leader, the role also builds advanced capabilities, leads transformation and change, and partners closely across the demand organization, finance, agency partners, and global stakeholders to accelerate growth and ROI. This role is based in Franklin, TN with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including occasional remote work. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Data Analytics, or a related field required. Master’s Degree (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree preferred, especially with a focus on Category Management, Marketing, or Strategic Management. Experience within a consumer-focused business/sector, such as FMCG, Hospitality, QSR, or consumer pharma. Proven record of leading significant transformation at scale. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking. Deep expertise in category management, shopper insights, and commercial excellence. Experience in developing and implementing capability programs. Track record of partnering with business leaders to deliver positive business outcomes. Familiarity with advanced analytics, market research, and digital transformation trends in retail. Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing category, commercial excellence, or strategy teams. Experience in a matrixed, global organization is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with experience in talent development and team management. What will be your key responsibilities? Set the North America media, content, and digital activation priorities, aligned to business objectives and relevant global direction. Translate global PESO frameworks, measurement requirements, and partner strategies into North America plans with clear execution requirements and accountability. Orchestrate integrated planning across media, content, social, digital, and demand teams to deliver connected in-market execution. Lead performance management across PESO channels, using campaign, audience, and investment signals to reallocate effort and improve results. Sponsor the North America marketing operations model, agency governance, and ways of working to improve speed, quality, and consistency. Build and lead a high-performing team that drives cross-functional alignment and execution discipline. Develop GEO and Search AI capabilities to build portfolio relevance and produce more efficient marketing operations
