Perform administrative duties, including maintaining calendars, coordinating travel, preparing expense reports, and overseeing the day-to-day needs of the anchor Conduct research for pieces and special reports as requested by Anchor, Senior Producer, and Producers. Manage social media accounts, such as pitching, shooting, editing, and producing across platforms Communicate professionally and discreetly with executives and talent Assist with long term project planning and story development Support coverage of breaking news and major events, which may include nights, weekends, and overnight hours Qualifications: Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Handle confidential information with absolute discretion Must be a team player with a positive outlook Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and passport Ability to balance priorities, multiple projects, and tasks, and act with urgency Exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Prior experience in a news setting is strongly preferred CBS News and Stations, brings together the power of CBS News, 28 owned television stations in 17 major U.S. markets, the CBS News Streaming Network, CBS News Streaming local platforms, local websites and cbsnews.com, under one umbrella.
