THE JOB:As an Assistant Beverage Manager for Conventions & Banquets at Bellagio, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional beverage service for largescale meetings, conferences, and elegant banquet events by supporting daily operations and overseeing beverage employees in a luxury, highvolume environment. You will lead with a servicefocused mindset, ensuring team members are trained, supported, and aligned with Bellagios worldclass standards while maintaining efficiency, quality, and consistency across all events. By anticipating client and guest needs, adapting to the unique requirements of each event, and fostering a welcoming, professional atmosphere, you will help create seamless experiences and WOW moments guests will remember long after their visit. THE DAY-TO-DAY:Provide guidance and counsel to beverage employees, ensure the staff is scheduled properly, and provide recommendations to management on daily operational issues. Provide management support in the oversight of an assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to the guests, coordinate the requisition process and stocking of beverage outlets to maximize revenues for the division. Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department; direct smooth, efficient, cost effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling and inventory control. Manage and monitor fiscal budget, operations of assigned department(s) and marketing strategies to produce both short term and long term profitability. Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the companys core service standards and brand attributes; react to any guest complaints and take appropriate action. Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the companys diversity commitment; adherence to the companys status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:High School Diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required 2 Years of prior relevant supervisory experience in beverage or an equivalent F&B supervisory position required. Working knowledge of Liquor, Wine, and/or Spirits preferred. Previous experience executing BE - Os preferred. Previous experience managing large-sized teams preferred.
