ECS is seeking a Project Support Specialist, USPIS to work in our Washington, DC office. ECS is seeking a Project Support Specialist to work on our US Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) support team doing postal inspection related program and project oversight and management related tasks. This high-profile position performs various project scheduling, tracking, reporting, stakeholder management and program oversight related tasks for the Chief Postal Inspector's Office and USPIS. Though a hybrid role, this position requires the ability to work three days per week, onsite, at USPS Headquarters in Washington DC. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Planning, Project Management, and General Governance support. Process reviews for the purpose of identifying efficiencies. Project tracking and Status Reporting. Assist the Chief Postal Inspector with Postal stakeholder engagement, including meeting agendas, facilitation, action item monitoring and follow up, and risk/issue tracking. Document and communicate the business impact that Inspection Service projects and programs achieve. Support reporting, preparation, and follow-up for Inspection Service Executive Committee (EC), DRIVE, and Prioritization and Review Committee (PARC) meetings. Track and monitor project and portfolio-level risks, issues, deliverables, critical milestones, deadlines, and success measures (including data entry and analysis) using the I - Se. PM Service Now platform. Work with project and program managers to update and clarify project information as needed. Develop and/or enhance project and program management tools and processes. Provide guidance on project management platforms and assist stakeholders in navigating. Provide general project management advice and support for Inspection Service project managers and program leaders. Support project and program stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management. Note: Candidates must be able to obtain a USPS Public Trust Clearance. This requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card), and the ability to pass a stringent background check. Possess 1-2 years experience managing and / or coordinating Federal Government projects and programs Familiarity with basic Data Governance, such as naming standards for data tables and attributes Proven working experience in project scheduling, reporting, oversight and stakeholder management Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously Excellent client-facing (other USPS teams) and internal (team) communications skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail Highly Competent in Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Able to work independently
