Information Position Summary - Coordinate, schedule, and administer exams for students approved for testing accommodations. - Manage and monitor the alternative textbook process for students who need alternative text options. - Implement approved accommodations, including extended time, reduced-distraction testing environments, alternativeformats, assistive technology, and reader/scribe services. - Communicate with faculty regarding exam delivery, accommodation requirements, and exam return procedures. - Maintain secure handling, storage, and tracking of exams and testing materials. - Proctor exams and monitor testing environments to ensure adherence to institutional testing and academic integritypolicies. - Work with office staff to schedule testing proctors and student employees. - Maintain accurate records related to testing appointments, accommodations provided, and exam completion. - Address and resolve testing-related issues or conflicts in a timely, professional manner. - Ensure compliance with federal and state disability laws, university policies, and best practices in accessibility. - Collaborate with Disability staff to support office operations and student access initiatives. - Helps coordinate voter registration for students with disabilities. - - Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in special education, education, or related field. Successful performance in an on campus interview and pass a criminal background check Preferred Qualifications Experience working in special education or related field.
