The Circuit Breaker Manufacturing Technical Trainer is responsible for building capability on the shop floor by delivering practical, technical training on how circuit breakers are built, how they operate, and why each step matters for safety, quality, and reliability. The role embeds EHS and Zero Harm principles into daily manufacturing activities, ensuring workers understand both the task and the risk associated with manufacturing and assembly processes. Acts as the authoritative expert for circuit breaker assembly & operation ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performance product manufacturing. This role requires a strong blend of hands-on manufacturing experience, adult technical training capability, and a demonstrated commitment to EHS and Zero Harm principles in manufacturing environments. How You’ll Make an Impact. Providing authoritative guidance on circuit breaker design and manufacturing, including assembly sequences, critical build steps, tolerances, materials, special processes, functional checks, and calibration, while integrating Zero Harm principles throughout production. Supporting manufacturing teams in resolving assembly issues, process deviations, yield, reliability, and on-time delivery challenges to ensure consistent product performance. Approving and governing manufacturing changes that may impact circuit breaker function, safety, or performance, ensuring alignment with design intent and compliance requirements. Training engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams on circuit breaker fundamentals, functional behavior, common failure modes, and correct handling and application practices. Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, Quality, EHS, Service, and Field teams on new product development, risk assessments, corrective actions, and customer-facing technical discussions. Identifying and driving opportunities to improve performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability while influencing long-term operational roadmaps and best practices. What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Associates degree with equivalent technical qualifications and manufacturing experience may be considered . or more years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or product engineering, preferably with experience in work instruction creation and implementation. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa. Relevant EHS training and certificates a plus.
