A typical day in this role involves hands on manufacturing and assembly work, focusing on precise builds of small, detailed components. You’ll begin by reviewing technical drawings such as blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to plan out your tasks and ensure each step of the build follows exact specifications. Throughout the day, you’ll work with a variety of hand tools and air tools, applying strong dexterity and attention to detail to produce high quality assemblies. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining an organized workspace, inspecting and caring for equipment, and ensuring all tools are in proper working order to support a safe and efficient workflow. As challenges arise, you’ll apply analytical thinking to troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and prevent production interruptions. Collaboration plays an important role in your day. You’ll communicate with team members, support shared responsibilities, and contribute to a positive and productive environment. Your reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others make you a valued member of a fast-paced manufacturing team. How You’ll Make an Impact - Reading and understanding instructions and assembling products or their parts and components - Moving the pieces or the products to the next stage of the manufacturing process - Keeping the workstations orderly and storing & maintaining the tools, parts, test equipment and documentation etc. - Following the targets and deadlines for assembling process and preparing reports on daily basis - Building & developing the test instructions and reviewing them for improved production - Ability to push/pull panel carts averaging 35-50 lbs. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Assess 3 PL handling of Siemens inventory. Monitor 3 PL KPI and escalate trends as necessary. What You Bring - 3 years of hands on experience in production, construction, and working with small, detailed components. - Able to read and interpret technical drawings, including blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate and efficient builds. - Skilled in the use of hand tools and air tools, consistently performing precise work requiring strong dexterity and attention to detail. - Maintains and organizes equipment, tools, and work areas, ensuring safe operation and supporting a clean, efficient workflow. - Applies strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify improvements, and ensure high quality output. - Recognized as a positive, dependable team player with excellent work ethic, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively in fast paced environments.
