Supports the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Recruitment in managing the day-to-day operation of the department. Manages the law school recruitment program to include developing the recruitment travel calendar; coordinating outreach activities; assist with the planning and implementation of events for prospective and admitted students; supervising and training student and seasonal recruiters; outreach to pre-law advisors; and serving as primary recruiter at local, regional, and national events (extensive travel required). Assists with development of digital recruiting plan by creating and scheduling quality social media content representing the law school. Maintains timely and professional correspondence with prospective students. Counsels prospective applicants from the initial contact, through the application and admissions process, to matriculation (will include coordinating campus visits and hosting in-person tours). Assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing campaign and yield initiatives incorporating the use of print and electronic media. This position requires frequent travel. Occasional Duties: - Required training to perform primary duties. - Reviews law school applications. - Serves as law school representative on university and community committees and task forces. Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained. Two years of law school or undergraduate admissions experience. Content creation experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases (preferably Unite and Banner) is desired. Experience in producing printed and electronic marketing materials is preferred. The successful candidate will possess the ability to multi-task and handle a heavy workload with frequent interruptions. The ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision is important. Comfortable with all methods of travel, supervising others, and managing an expense account in accordance with applicable laws and university regulations. Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. This position requires eligibility to drive TTU vehicles, including a valid U.S. driver license and two years of driving experience.
