Maintain working knowledge of Student Affairs and University policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines; ensure compliance and provide accurate information to internal and external stakeholders. - Manage the General Student Affairs inbox and e-fax system by reviewing, prioritizing, routing, and maintaining records of correspondence in accordance with university protocols. - Receive, document, track, and route student and parent concerns received via phone and email to appropriate departments to ensure timely follow-up and resolution. - Support office operations by maintaining established workflows, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. - Assist with continuity of operations by providing administrative coverage, maintaining documentation, and supporting divisional operations during staff absences or transitions. - Serve as a primary point of contact for the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs by responding to inquiries from students, visitors, campus partners, and external constituents. - Coordinate scheduling and calendar management for VPSA staff, including arranging meetings, resolving conflicts, and supporting meeting logistics. - Provide administrative guidance and support to VPSA departmental staff related to divisional administrative processes, procedures, and routine operational tasks. - Prepare, submit, and track RAVE submissions in compliance with institutional requirements and timelines. - Manage and monitor the VPSA special gifts and condolences ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, and adherence to divisional protocols. - Process special gift and condolence requests and coordinate with divisional staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery. - Provide administrative coordination and support for the Micro-Externship Program, including communication, tracking, and documentation as assigned. - Manage confidential and sensitive information with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and discretion. Please refer to the link for more information: Executive Order 2026-001.”Graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management; performing secretarial duties in support of a manager; coordinating communications between the manager, staff and program clientele; supervision of subordinate staff; researching information from internal and external sources; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
