As part of the Data Solutions Support team, the Analyst will be responsible for developing and delivering data and reporting solutions required for Consumer Auto business audits and exams. The Analyst at Ally will utilize technical and analytics skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to tackle business problems. This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of three days in-office and two days working remotely each week. This may change in alignment with enterprise-wide policies. The Work Itself Responsible for the design, development and support of data and reporting solutions to meet Legal, Federal and State exam needs Implement robust, reliable and custom solutions, using tools such as Python, Posit and Streamlit Develop and maintain self-service data and reporting solutions Develop and maintain data governance procedures to ensure data integrity Use Snowflake and Python for data preparation: ingesting, extracting, cleansing, aggregation and summarizing and creating insightful visuals Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by creating automated testing scripts Ability to navigate and understand complex data structures Addressing user questions concerning data integrity Interact with senior management, department leaders and other employees to develop and reach agreement on data and reporting requirements and priorities Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key data/analytics innovation platforms Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner Ensure stability, performance and support of production reporting and meet demand for data across Analytic teams Able to run multiple projects in parallel and should be communicating on status and risks timely. The Skills You Bring Minimum Requirements:1 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science, Management Information System, Business Analytics or Engineering. Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent. Preferred Requirements:2 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree with a preferred field of study in Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science, Management Information System, Business Analytics or Engineering. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server SQL, Python, Excel experience Data platforms - AWS, Snowflake, Oracle Reporting - Power BI (nice to have) Data governance/risk management tools (nice to have) – Alation, Manta, Collibra Data Quality etc.
