Base Operations at Page Field is an award-winning, fixed-based operator and has been recognized for its customer service and facilities. Terminal Expansion projects are currently underway at RSW to improve the airport travel experience by consolidating the security checkpoints, adding concession space and providing passengers more amenities and options. In addition, a new Concourse E is being constructed with 14 gates, as well as other terminal, landside and airside improvements. The anticipated starting hourly rate for the ideal candidate is $21.92. The Lee County Port Authority is looking for a motivated Terminal Operations Agent to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the terminal, ensuring that Southwest Florida International Airport runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently every day. Working under the Terminal Operations Manager, you will use your independent judgment to manage the terminal environment and maintain the high standards our passengers expect.
What You’ll Do:Conduct regular walkthroughs of public, secured, and tenant areas to ensure compliance and standards are met. Identify and report facility deficiencies, initiating corrective actions to meet Port Authority timelines. Be the first on the scene for medical emergencies to coordinate access for responders and document incidents. Work daily with the FAA, TSA, Customs Border Protection (CBP), tenants, stakeholders, and Port Authority personnel to keep operations seamless. Help manage the airport’s Lost & Found program and maintain critical operational reports. What We’re Looking For:At least one year of experience in customer service, aviation, or a related field. A valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Ability to pass a drug screening and comprehensive TSA/ CBP background checks to secure an airport badge and customs seal. A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Emergency Response/ Recovery Activities. Lee County Port Authority personnel are designated by tier levels and may be called upon to assist with an emergency or unforeseen event at any time.
