Precision Stainless Steel & Aluminum Welding. Location: Salt Lake City Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE) $1.00 Shift differential = $30-$35 hr. Schedule: Second Shift (3:00 pm – 12:30 am) with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule available) Type: Full-Time. Build Advanced Technology Systems Used Around the World. What You’ll Be Responsible For - Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel and aluminum components - Fit and weld chambers/tanks and pressure vessels - Fabricate components using engineering drawings and blueprints - Weld pipe assemblies ranging from 1/8” to 36” - Fabricate tanks and assemblies ranging from 4” to 8’ in diameter - Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication of welded assemblies - Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure quality and structural integrity - Maintain safe work practices and organized work areas Requirements What Sets You Apart - 5–7 years TIG welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment - Strong experience welding stainless steel and aluminum - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld prints - Experience fitting and welding large fabrications, tanks, or structural assemblies - Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality welds - Ability to work independently and collaborate with a fabrication team. Bonus Experience (Nice to Have): - Experience welding vacuum chambers or pressure vessels - Experience with pipe welding - Experience with fabrication equipment such as rollers, ironworker, mills, or lathes - Background in aerospace or advanced manufacturing fabrication.
