As a Security Guard Foot Patrol in Hopkins, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.45 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM - Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM - Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM - Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM - Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate directions, policy information, and assistance in a professional manner. Support daily operations by observing for maintenance issues, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, then relaying information through proper reporting channels for follow-up. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
