Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and product conformance. Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS 9102 and internal standards. Perform daily inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished assemblies. Lead and support process validation for new products, tooling, and manufacturing changes. Investigate nonconformances using root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and process variation. Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and systemic issues. Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, NC - Rs, and FME - As. Support ISO 9001 compliance through audits, documentation management, and process controls. Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and improve performance. . The Successful Applicant 5 years of manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred)Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and specifications. Hands-on, detail-oriented professional comfortable performing daily inspections on the shop floor. Proven experience with First Article Inspections (FAI), nonconformance management, and CAPA - Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Skilled in root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving. Experience in high-precision, regulated industries (aerospace, defense, or similar) preferred. Familiarity with SPC, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborative team player who works effectively with operations, engineering, and supply chain. Proactive, accountable, and ethically driven, with a strong focus on customer quality and results.
