Assist the Business Insights & Solutions team to think strategically through new PBM models, channel disruptors and their sustainability. Ensure Sanofi is holistically looking across PBM, Payer, & Employer strategies and how the priorities of these stakeholders' impact not only each other but also the responses by competitors and other entities. Build new disruptive prototype models, simulations in collaboration with Business Insights & Solutions, Access Strategy, and other matrix teams. Own innovation workstreams and provide actionable plans in partnership with the cross-functional team. Develop value-based and risk-sharing models to optimize market access and patient outcomes. Support brand leads in planning and executing successful new product launches. Identify the expected impact of healthcare landscape changes, including disruptors (technology, channel, etc.). Monitor and assess the US healthcare environment to identify trends and policy changes that may impact the pharma industry and/or company's current and future pipeline, including but not limited to changes in commercial reimbursement changes, changes to government programs (i.e., Medicaid, Medicare, 340 B), new payment models, innovative pricing strategies, and potential consolidations. Working with the appropriate stakeholders, drive the development of an annual long-range scan (2-4 years) with quarterly or semi-annual updates to regularly communicate with the broader organization, especially with the Access Strategy, Channel Management, National & Regional Account Teams. Work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders such as Access Strategy, Commercial, Global Market Access, Policy, Government Affairs, New Product Planning and HEOR to identify key intelligence topics and related analysis requirements. About you. Qualifications:Bachelors Degree required. PharmD or MBA preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in PBM space (preferably with a large PBMs). Recent direct experience working with large national PBMs. Minimum of 5 years in a combination of the following areas within specialty care: pricing, contracting, pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy strategy & operations. Strong business & financial acumen and ability to turn trends/insights into quantifiable impact to the business. Skilled at conducting senior leadership engagements & presentations. Thorough understanding of payer landscape (commercial and government) across specialty products [oncology, immunology, Neurology, Asthma biologics], rare diseases and general medicine [diabetes, CV]. Experience working in channel contracting including buy/bill, retail and specialty pharmacies. Strong understanding of the complex and rapidly evolving factors influencing US market access, including reimbursement trends, payer concerns and healthcare policy. Strong understanding of the US payer environment, payer market dynamics, payer marketing principles and how healthcare players make decisions across private & public channels.
