The Decision Support Analyst maintains decision support and financial reporting systems while delivering accurate, timely analytics that support operational and financial decision-making. This role ensures data integrity, consistency, and reliability across reporting outputs by loading, validating, reconciling, and maintaining data within cost accounting and financial systems. Working within established methodologies and analytical frameworks, the analyst produces recurring reports and dashboards, supports month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and writes basic SQL queries for data extraction. The position also assists senior analysts with ad hoc analyses and maintains documentation of data processes and reporting logic to ensure transparency and continuity. What you will do. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other team members both in Data & Analytics and Finance to understand their data needs within the ecosystem. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within healthcare operations and internal processes by utilizing automation and optimizing workflows. Data Integrity Assurance: Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the datasets in partnership with key stakeholders and the data engineering team. The data utilized must be clean, validated, and maintain the level of consistency required for robust analytics and reporting. Communication and Teamwork: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard department process, frameworks, and practices as a technical subject matter expert. Ability to troubleshoot and investigate any validation issues encountered and develop a solution. Document and maintain clear and organized record for data sources, process, etc. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and collectively generate comprehensive insights that contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
