As a Valuation Oversight Specialist, you'll play a meaningful role in protecting the accuracy and consistency of investment valuations across our funds, ET - Fs, and Separately Managed Accounts. In this role, you'll apply your analytical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail to support fair valuation and oversight activities. Key responsibilities include:Oversee third-party fund administrators and valuation service providers to help ensure security valuations are accurate, timely, and aligned with established pricing policies and procedures. Support the preparation, documentation, and communication of fair valuation analyses and recommendations for governance and pricing committees. Perform routine price tolerance reviews, research valuation exceptions, and help resolve discrepancies using sound judgment and documented analysis. Partner closely with external administrators to review valuation determinations, resolve issues, and maintain clear, effective documentation. Help ensure valuation-related controls are appropriately documented, implemented, and operating as intended. Collaborate with internal partners across SAM, including Portfolio Management, Performance, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Trading, Corporate Actions, Credit Research, Trade Operations, and Governance teams. Prepare management reports, governance materials, and periodic board reporting related to valuation oversight. Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support automation or modernization efforts within valuation and oversight activities. Support projects, regulatory initiatives, and ad hoc analysis or presentation needs connected to valuation oversight. What you have Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field . years of experience in financial services, such as fund administration, valuation, fund accounting, investment operations, or a related area. Demonstrated ability to analyze information, apply judgment, and work through complex or unfamiliar valuation-related questions. Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering accurate, timely work in a deadline-driven environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information to a variety of partners. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and communicate insights. Preferred Qualifications. Experience supporting valuation, pricing, or oversight activities within an asset management or investment operations environment. Familiarity working with pricing vendors, fund administrators, or third-party service providers. Exposure to governance, controls, or regulatory processes within financial services. Experience using tools such as Bloomberg Terminal, Alteryx, VBA, or similar analytical or data solutions. In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
