THE JOB:It is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. THE DAY-TO-DAY:Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment. Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment. Complete work orders. Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:High School Diploma or GED Required. Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred.
