Equipment setup, and upkeep of saws and associated equipment. - Operate and troubleshoot, Saw control consoles. - Operate and troubleshoot, crosscut, take critical measurements - Maintain the use of mold release. - Communicate product attributes to process operator for correction. - Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process and equipment. - Ensure quality and proper facer makings. - Housekeeping of Plant inside and out. - Assist in training of new team members. - Safe/ Proper disposal of waste chemical. - Maintaining 5 S Checklist - Fill in other areas of the plant as required Required Skills/ Abilities/ Knowledge: - Knowledge and Certified in Lock-out, Tag-out Program, Forklift, and Confined Space - Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant’s general safety policies. - Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product. - Ability to operate mobile equipment safely Education & Experience Requirements: Education – High School Diploma or GED equivalent, technical school preferred Experience with driving a forklift Experience - 2 years of experience previous experience working as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment Working Conditions: Activities occur inside and insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following: Temperatures exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points Noise of industrial machinery Typically, 40 hours per week with overtime as required 3 shifts Monday-Friday with weekends as required Fast paced 24/5 operations
