Sunstates Security is currently hiring Security Officers near Jefferson, GA. Part-time, 2nd and 3rd shift positions are available with positions starting at $18.00/hr, paid weekly. Positions Available: Part-time, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays, 2nd and 3rd Shift. Position Requirements:One (1) year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred! Excellent customer service skills are required. The ability to present a professional appearance is required. Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance. Must always be accessible for phone communication. Basic computer skills for logging activity and completing reports. Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility. Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form. Willing and able to work holidays and weekends. Willing to work in all weather conditions. Able to work independently with minimal supervison and maintain alertness during all hours. Clean background, ability to pass a pre-employment evaluation, and pass random drug screens. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
