Achieve ability to perform all job duties within the Operational workflow by developing full knowledge of all aspects of the operation of high-speed digital printers, laminators, binders, and trimmers within the Production department. Oversee KPIs, goals and objectives for the management team. Build a passionate manufacturing team with a positive, inclusive, results oriented culture. Leverage the flexibility of Lean, Six Sigma and Performance Improvement tools to enhance productivity. Set clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance, provide feedback, and hold leaders accountable. Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives; works on strategic projects that have total building and network-wide impact. Effectively leverage the Operations and Area Managers to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges in the building. Provides strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning. Work closely with support staff (HR, Maintenance Engineering, Safety, IT and other leaders) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives. Oversee the supervision of the manufacturing area ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials in and out of the facility. Monitor and execute LSI policies and procedures for HR related issues including associate attendance and timekeeping. Monitors and reviews associate performance. Interview applicants, make hiring recommendations, oversee training and recommend disciplinary measures, as needed, for production. Hiring Salary Range: $110,981 k - $141,123 k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
