Qualifications. Education: - B. S. Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience. - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred. - Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency desirable. Experience: - Proficiency in navigating the electronic medical record. - One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. License(s)/ Certification(s): - Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for licensure. - Must attain a license to practice Pharmacy in Iowa within six months of employment. - Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Iowa Pharmacist license is obtained. - Must maintain current license to practice pharmacy in Iowa and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners. - Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
