Operating Mechanic. The ideal candidate will support chemical or industrial operations in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. This role offers growth opportunities in heavy equipment operation and industrial maintenance. Where will you work: Onsite Big Bend – (12839 Wyandotte Rd., Gibsonton, FL33534). Schedule: DuPont Schedule 4 days on, 7 off, 4 nights on, 3 off, 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 nights on, 3 off. 12-hour shifts (6 am/pm to 6 am/pm). What you’ll do:Safely operate heavy equipment including payloader, skid loader, and forklift. Assist with routine industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with all safety and environmental policies. Work outdoors occasionally in varying weather conditions. What you’ll need: ?1 – 2 years’ experience working in Industrial, chemical, or manufacturing setting and operating mobile equipment of industrial, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Associate degree in Process Technology or related discipline is preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Proficient in reading and writing English. Ability to make operational judgments while distributing materials or operating equipment. Experience operating Heavy equipment such as Payloader, Skid Loader, etc. Exposure to industrial maintenance tasks (e.g., basic mechanical repairs, equipment inspections).
