The Advisory Marketing Specialist II supports Advisory Program Marketing initiatives within the Investment Products & Services Group for Financial Advisors across the firm. This role works closely with the Advisory Program Marketing team to provide education, communicate advisory program enhancements and regulatory updates, and promote tools designed to support Financial Advisors' efforts What We're Looking For - Analyze complex investment situations and provide guidance and solutions to Financial Advisors. - Evaluate the competitive landscape and deliver insights to management to ensure Stifel's advisory platform meets/exceeds competitor offerings. - Coach and support Specialists in developing appropriate investment solutions for Financial Advisors. - Provide education, support, and solutions in response to Financial Advisor inquiries. - Develop impactful product marketing, presentation, and proposal materials. - Travel to branch locations to serve as home office liaison providing Advisory Platform training and provide program updates to Financial Advisors. - Assist Financial Advisors in recommending appropriate asset allocations for client portfolios. - Represent the Investment Products and Services Group as a speaker at industry and Stifel events, including recruiting initiatives and new Advisor training. - Conduct training sessions for Financial Advisors. - Meet with prospective Financial Advisors during home office visits. - Present investment advisory topics via Zoom and in-person settings. What You'll Bring - Ability to understand complex investment situations and guide Advisors in implementing effective solutions. - In-depth knowledge of the advisory business with strong background in mutual funds, ET - Fs, separately managed accounts, investment performance measurement, and asset allocation. - In-depth knowledge of Stifel policies and procedures as well as industry regulations related to investment advisory business. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with Investment Products & Services senior Management to communicate and implement Advisory Program Marketing initiatives. Education & Experience - Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in business or related field - Minimum Required: 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services and 1-2 years in Advisory. Licenses & Credentials - Minimum Required: Series 7, 63 & 65, or 66 within six months of hire. Systems & Technology - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. - Morningstar Direct and Workstation are preferred. #LI-JK 1
