Position Summary:The position will play an integral role in the coordination and strategic development, implementation, and activation of comprehensive marketing and ticket sales plans, assistance with sponsorship implementation, social media, fan engagement, and organizational branding outreach. Job Duties:1. Develop, manage and execute comprehensive marketing and ticket sales plans for assigned sports and events with an emphasis on increasing season, single-game and group ticket sales, social media, enhancing fan experience and the overall game presentation (50%)2. Prepare and coordinate all aspects of game-day production and promotions for assigned sports, including the selection of music; the production of game scripts integrating public address, video board, spirit squads, mascot and bands when applicable (25%)3. Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing special events and community service for UNC Athletics. (10%)4. Assist in building and managing a comprehensive internship/student worker program designed to increase the productivity and capabilities of functions within the Marketing & Fan Engagement unit. (10%)5. Other miscellaneous duties. (5%)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a field such as Marketing, Sports Management, etc. A master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
