This is classified as VHNE (Variable Hour Non-Benefit Employee), where the selected candidate will work less than 29 hours per week. This position does not provide medical benefits. Swim Instructors perform a variety of routine tasks related to aquatic safety and provide instruction to patrons in swimming and aquatic safety. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Instructs patrons at various levels of swimming techniques and aquatic safety. Performs routine tasks to maintain safety in swim classes. Enforces pool rules. Maintains records relating to swim classes. Provides information to patrons and parents. Attends in-service training sessions pertaining to the swim lesson program. Completes lesson block plans each session to cater to each class. Performs other related duties as assigned.
