As a Perioperative Scheduler you will:Schedule surgical and anesthesia care provider procedures within established guidelines. Coordinate resources available for maximum utilization. Obtain patient and procedural information, prints, distributes, and updates schedules. Keeps statistical information. Perform computer data entry and retrieval. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Job Requirements. In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Three years of experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong computer skills. High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs force occasionally)Where You'll Work.
