CTR Group is seeking experienced Shipfitters for a Commercial Shipyard in the in the North Eastern area of the US area for full-time positions. Travelers Welcome! Recently separated or retired Navy Hull Technicians encouraged to apply! PAY RATES with Benefits Plus Per Diem:1st shift - $32 per hour with $150 per diem per day 2nd and 3rd shift - $33.28 and $150 per diem per day(They can be offered more depending on their performance)Shifts:4 - 10 hours days, Monday through Thursday. Possible Additional Hours:8 hours on Friday - depending on department needs 6 hours on Saturday - depending on department needs. REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 5 years' experience in Shipyards with shipbuilding production or ship repair. Businesses with manufacturing of heavy steel structures. Production of pressure vessels, boilers and other similar quality products. Welding and fitting, hand tools and industrial safet. Y - Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Must have experience with stick & flux core tack welding. Must have oxy Acetylene Burning Torch experience. Must successfully pass 1st Class Skill Test. Must successfully pass a Written Test.
