V-22 Aircraft Maintenance Technician - DEFENSE LOCATION: NAS North Island, CA PAY RATE: $35-43/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Summary: Support CMV-22 Modification & Maintenance Teams Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, and repair of aerospace components Remove and replace components for repair, testing, or serviceability Conduct routine and complex functional/diagnostic testing using bench and automated test equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using established fault isolation procedures Validate and verify systems and component serviceability Coordinate assembly/disassembly and overhaul activities to ensure accuracy and compliance Document repairs, inspections, modifications, and test results per contractual and regulatory requirements Inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability prior to installation Identify, document, and reconcile discrepancies Ensure compliance with FOD control, tool control, and health & safety procedures Travel up to 25% (CONUS and Hawaii) as required to support customer needs Requirements: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within past 24 months) U.S. Citizenship Experience with V-22 maintenance and/or modification Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and environments Experience in either: Electrical & Avionics systems or Airframes systems Willingness and ability to travel on short notice (up to 25%) High school diploma or GED 4 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Preferred Qualifications: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Quality Assurance experience Extensive depot-level modification experience About Us: The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
