We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Order Picker to join our fast-paced distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient selection of customer orders, ensuring our high service standards are met. You will utilize specialized heavy equipment, including stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers, to maneuver through our facility and handle inventory. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment based on daily picklists. Equipment Operation: Safely operate a stand-up forklift and cherry picker to retrieve products from high racks and staging areas. Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure system data matches physical stock levels. Fast-Paced Efficiency: Maintain a steady workflow to meet daily productivity and throughput targets while ensuring order accuracy. Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily equipment inspections, follow all OSHA safety protocols, and maintain a clean and organized work zone. Communication: Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and team members to resolve order discrepancies or equipment issues promptly. Required Qualifications. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of verifiable warehouse experience. Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in operating stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to read and follow written instructions, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and safety. Preferred Qualifications. Software: Previous experience using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a significant plus. Physical Demands & Work Environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time. Willingness to work in a warehouse environment that may include temperature fluctuations.
