We are creating the first hypersonic boost/glide system for the US Army and Navy here on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, and our NGC-SW Integrated Product Team (IPT) is responsible for the algorithms and software that control it. Our group includes the Navigation, Guidance, and Control (NG&C or GN&C) subsystem, which flies the missile and glide body, and the embedded Flight Software (FSW) which hosts the NG&C algorithms and provides health, status, and sequencing for the entire system. Additionally, we develop and maintain the Flight Software testbeds (HI - Ls or HWI - Ls) which provide complete hardware integration testing with feedback and flight simulation to test the NG&C algorithms and flight software. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Senior Logistics Engineer to serve as a Lab Manager and Engineering Technician for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic missile program. This role will serve as the lab manager for the HWIL team focusing on inventory management, lab supplies procurement, certification tracking, and assisting with electrical and mechanical buildouts of the Flight Software Testbeds. - Certifications: J-STD-001, IPC/ WHMA-A-620, A , Network , Security - Familiarity with Defense procurement processes - Familiarity with lab equipment calibration tracking - Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance - Cable/harness buildouts (electrical terminations, connector pinouts, soldering proficiency) - Rack buildouts (Power and ground terminal bars, shelf buildouts) - Familiarity with electrical and mechanical engineering drawings - Computer/ Electrical system diagnosis - Inventory management - Highly organized and effective communicator - Enjoys collaborative and team focused workstyles
