Systems Test & Verification Engineer - Medical Device (Bedford, MA)As a Systems Test Engineer, you will join a high-performing team focused on Advanced Imaging products in the Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT-D) business. You will develop and maintain test protocols, design test plans, and execute testing to verify product design across products and platforms. Your role:You will be responsible for translating system requirements into well-defined, measurable test cases that comprehensively cover system-level functionality, interfaces, and edge cases. The role executes a comprehensive suite of system tests, including integration and regression testing. You will report to the Head of Optical & Systems, Advanced Imaging at Philips IGTD, and work alongside a talented and multidisciplinary team of Systems Engineers. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product development, quality, operations, field service, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and develop test tools. You're the right fit if:You have 4 years of experience as Test Engineer, Verification Engineer, or Systems engineer working on electro-mechanical products, preferably in medical devices. You’ve earned a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent. You are proficient in developing / executing test protocols and designing test fixtures / tools for systems incorporating both hardware and software. Experience in test case management using JAMA or similar is expected. You have working knowledge of quality systems (QMS) and medical device regulations. You would benefit from having knowledge of test automation and model-based systems engineering. How we work together:We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an office-based role, and the expectation will be 5 days a week in our Bedford, MA office.
