Lead and contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of innovative Satcom solutions. Translate system requirements into practical, high-impact designs for payloads, terminals, and subsystems. Optimize RF signal chains, frequency conversion, mixed signal, digital beamforming, power, and precision technologies. Drive or influence IC and system technology roadmaps through deep industry insight. Integrate new technologies such as advanced user terminals and Direct-to-Cell solutions. Ensure robust designs for the space environment, including radiation (TID, SEE), thermal, and reliability factors. Required Qualifications:Significant experience in Satcom system design for payloads, user terminals, or key subsystems. Knowledge of relevant Satcom frequency bands (e.g., Ku, Ka, Q, V, W, C, S, L) and the implications on circuit/sub-system design. Ability to translate system/constellation requirements into innovative solutions. Understanding of space environment factors, including radiation effects (TID, SEE). Strong problem-solving and communication skills; thrives in both independent and collaborative settings. Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Aerospace, or related field. Experience shaping IC or system roadmaps. Familiarity with power systems, thermal control, or on-board processing. Exposure to Direct-to-Cell and next-generation Satcom technologies.
