Verizon Business is revolutionizing how we engage with our Small Business customers in a virtual way, this new role is an expansion of those virtual engagement and outreach efforts. As a Strategic Inside Sales Supervisor, you will spend the majority of your time coaching and leading your inside sales team in base growth efforts, new logo onboarding and overall customer experience engagement through our blended call queue. You’ll be part of our Virtual sales team building our client-base and making our current customers experience best in class service. Your team's client experience will be in your hands as they interact with new and existing customers to drive revenue and business success while ensuring first-class service. Manage team in uncovering new business through inbound/outbound calls and reactively mining the existing customer base. Meet and exceed defined sales and retention objectives through ongoing training, coaching, and monitoring of individual and team performance. Ensure that representatives reactively assist the existing customer base and manage churn. Ensure that existing and prospective customers are treated with the highest levels of courtesy and professionalism. Analyze staffing needs of the team and center as a whole. Help recruit new talent to the Virtual to Business Team. Actively work in B 360, SFDC, Work. Hub, and our Inside Sales IVR technologies. Provide hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations. You are a strong, clear, and effective leader who can communicate with diverse audiences. You are, or aspire to be, a passionate people leader who is agile and able to think quickly to solve problems and address issues immediately. As a coach and mentor, you measure your success by your team's accomplishments. What we’re looking for... You’ll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. Even better if you have one or more of the following:One or more years of management experience. PC skills in the Google Suite of Products. Familiarity with telesales/call center environment. Proven leadership ability and knowledge of the wireless industry. Experience in developing and coaching a high-performance team. Written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills. Self-motivated and highly organized individual. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Business Sales success and experience. Willingness to travel. Home office requirements:This is a work-from-home role. Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem capable of at least 25 mbps. Wireless connections or DSL are not acceptable. A dedicated quiet, private workspace. The ability to self-manage in a remote work environment including setup of company-provided ergonomic chair, desk, and computer equipment and ongoing proactive, skilled, and effective management of your home network and connections. Demonstrated self-discipline, time management skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and on a team - all in a remote work environment.
