The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at La Salle University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Essential Duties Teach 12 credit hours Coordinate the College Algebra course offerings and adjunct instructors Secondary Responsibilities Other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field Teaching experience at the collegiate level Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in Mathematics or a related field Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while teaching and performing academic duties. Ability to use a computer and standard instructional technology. Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Ability to move between classrooms, offices, and meeting locations on campus. Ability to occasionally lift or carry materials up to 10–15 pounds. Ability to read and review printed and electronic materials. Occasional evening events or evening classes will be required.
