Manufacturing Supervisor - Fabrication & Sheet Metal

Provide direct leadership and supervision of fabrication and sheet metal personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations. - Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements. - Drive daily execution of production activities to meet schedule, quality, and efficiency targets. - Continuously evaluate and improve processes, workflows, and resource utilization across both shops. - Coordinate with Engineering, Production Control, and Quality to resolve drawing issues, manufacturing challenges, and nonconformances. - Ensure proper housekeeping, organization, and maintenance of equipment and work areas. - Recommend and manage tooling, consumables, and equipment needs. - Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. - Support and enforce a culture of safety, partnering with HSE to reduce incidents and improve safety performance. - Promote a quality-first mindset to reduce rework and scrap while improving overall product quality. - Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. FACILITY / GROUP RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee production scheduling, manpower planning, and equipment utilization across fabrication and sheet metal operations. - Ensure alignment with site production goals and deadlines. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste. - Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and resolve bottlenecks. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Minimum 3 years of welding, fabrication, or sheet metal experience. - Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor). - High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. - Strong working knowledge of fabrication and sheet metal processes. - Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, ISO, OSHA, and AWS. JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT - Limited travel (~5%) required. - Regular exposure to shop environment including noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. - Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work safely in an industrial setting.
