Create and refine detailed 3 D models and 2 D manufacturing drawings for uprights, beams, and specialized racking components using design software\n\t. Perform basic structural analysis and load capacity calculations to ensure racking configurations meet seismic and weight-load requirements\n\t. Collaborate with the production team to optimize designs for various manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and lead times\n\t. Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering change notices (EC - Ns)\n\t. Iterate designs based on load testing performance data and failure analysis\n\n\nrequirements:\n\n\n\t. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; equivalent experience to be considered\n\t. Experience designing steel pallet racking systems strongly desired\n\t. Knowledge of RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) or AISI standards for cold-formed steel design highly preferred\n\t. Advanced experience with 3 D CAD (Solid. Works preferred) and 2 D drafting.
