As a Security Officer Patrol Operative in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed role blends customer service and communication with a caring, people-first approach. Working as part of a reliable, agile team, you will support staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.39 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM - Tue 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM - Wed 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM - Thur 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM - Fri 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or common areas in accordance with site procedures while reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support a caring and respectful environment by assisting with de-escalation, directing individuals to the proper location, and communicating with staff during security-related events. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
