A well-established and growing sheet metal fabrication equipment manufacturer is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician with hands-on press brake experience. This is a key role on a tight-knit service team - you'll be the go-to person for installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC press brakes at customer sites across the region. If you know your way around hydraulic systems, electrical components, and CNC controls, and you take pride in solving problems on the spot - this is the kind of role where your skills actually get recognized. What You'll Do: - Install, commission, and service CNC press brakes and related sheet metal fabrication equipment at customer facilities - Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and CNC control issues in the field - Perform preventative maintenance, machine calibrations, and software updates - Provide hands-on and remote technical support to customers - Train customer operators and maintenance staff on proper machine operation and care - Document all service work, parts usage, and customer interactions accurately - Travel to customer sites as needed - primarily regional with occasional overnight trips What We're Looking For: - 3 years of field service experience working on CNC press brakes (required) - Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical components, and CNC controls - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical drawings - PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus - Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field - Strong problem-solving skills - you figure it out, not wait for someone to tell you - Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to customers without talking over their heads - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
