You will be the "engine room" of the aerial crew, ensuring that every project stays on schedule and every teammate stays safe. Crew Support: Anticipate the needs of the crew by providing the right tools, parts, and materials exactly when they are needed. Logistics & Movement: Safely reposition bucket trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment under the guidance of the crew leader. Public Relations: Ensure local residents stay informed by managing door-tag notifications and construction alerts before the workday begins. Fleet Readiness: Take pride in the "rolling office" by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Ground Ops: Perform manual excavation using shovels and mechanical tools; direct traffic according to DOT guidelines to keep the site and the public safe. All-Weather Performance: Demonstrate resilience by working outdoors in various weather conditions and remains flexible for overtime, travel, or on-call duties. Perform other duties as assigned. What you’ll need Age & Eligibility: 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Credentials: High School Diploma or GED; a valid (non-provisional) state driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. The "Climb" Mentality: A willingness to learn and become a certified pole climber. Experience: 0–3 years of labor experience (telecom experience is a huge plus, but we value a strong work ethic above all). Communication: Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with your team. Physical Readiness: Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Physical Requirements & Exposures: Routinely: Work at heights and handle fiber reels/materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Environment: Exposure to outdoor elements and varied terrain.
