The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a FT RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare and nursing home setting on the weekends in the Capital District and Saratoga areas. Shift Details: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM once trained. Will require some weekday training in the beginning. Eligible for Full-Time Medical Benefits. What you will do:Visit patients in their home or facility to respond to symptom management needs and coordinate with our team to provide end of life support to patients and families. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes RNs, LPNs, aides, physicians, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists, and volunteers. What you will need:Valid NYS RN license. Associate’s degree in nursing. Minimum 1 year RN experience required 1–2 years of home care or hospice experience preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Willingness to go to multiple counties as needed.
